Without Why
The rose is without why.
It blooms simply because it blooms.
It thinks not of itself,
And no display it show.
Ohne warumb
Die Ros' ist ohn warumb
sie blühet weil sie blühet;
Sie achtt nicht jhrer selbst
Fragt nicht ob man sie sihet.
Die Ros' ist ohn warumb
sie blühet weil sie blühet;
Sie achtt nicht jhrer selbst
Fragt nicht ob man sie sihet.
