Acquiring the Spirit of God is therefore the true end of our Christian life to the point that prayer, vigils, fasting, almsgiving and other virtuous actions done in the Name of Christ are but means to this end.
Acquisire lo Spirito di Dio è dunque il vero fine della nostra vita cristiana al punto che la preghiera, le veglie, il digiuno, l'elemosina e le altre azioni virtuose fatte in Nome di Cristo non sono che dei mezzi per tal fine.
