I have lost confidence in the Brexit policy of the Prime Minister and have therefore written to the Chairman of the 1922 Committee asking for a vote to take place over her Leadership.

The prime minister, Theresa May survived her party's confidence vote on 12 December 2018, but resigned as Conservative Party leader on 7 June 2019. In this period, the Chairman of the 1922 Committee was Sir Graham Brady.
