Let us always remember death | and by this meditation let us approach God with our heart | despise the vanity of the world | and hold its pleasure as something contemptible. | With a sickly body let us gladly endure the continual idleness of stillness | so that we may be deemed worthy of delight together with those who | in the dens and caves of the earth | await the lauded revelation of the Lord from Heaven. | For to Him | and to His Father | and to His Holy Spirit be glory | honor, dominion, and majesty unto the ages of ages. | Amen. | Homily 64, p. 462
