Faith matures in mystical experience in deep feeling when the gifts of the Holy Spirit intervene, but these gifts also touch the intellectual aspect of faith. The challenge of known truth is a sin against the Holy Spirit. The “beautiful battle” of faith consists in overcoming the fear of surrender, paying attention to the way one listens to the divine voice.
La fede matura nell'esperienza mistica nel sentire profondo quando intervengono i doni dello Spirito Santo, però questi doni toccano anche l'aspetto intellettivo della fede. L'impugnazione della verità conosciuta è un peccato contro lo Spirito Santo. La “bella battaglia” della fede consiste nel superare il timore della resa, prestando attenzione al modo nel quale si ascolta la voce divina.
