Corporal Shalit apparently equals the lives of a very, very large number of Palestinian people. Well I'm glad that those that were released, were released, and I hope they're now in safe places.

Around 1,000 Hamas prisoners had been released in exchange for the captured hostage Gilad Shalit, who was a soldier in the IDF. The "brother" Corbyn mentioned was Abdul Aziz Umar (another participant in the programme) who had been convicted in 2003 for his role in placing a suicide belt on the bomber and providing a safe house for the terrorists to prepare for the Café Hillel bombing which killed seven people.
