The Church established by Christ is one: holy, catholic, apostolic, one, founded on Peter. Like Jesus, the Church founded by Him, which forms His mystical body, is truth, life and way.

1) The Church is truth because Jesus entrusted her alone with the task of preserving, in its entirety, the entire deposit of faith. He entrusted it to the hierarchical Church, that is, to the Pope and the Bishops united with him.

2) The Church is life because it gives grace and it alone possesses the effective means of grace, which are the seven sacraments. It is especially life because it alone has been given the power to generate the Eucharist, through the ministerial and hierarchical priesthood. In the Eucharist, Jesus Christ is truly present with his glorious Body and his divinity. | 3) The Church is the way because it leads to the Father, through the Son, in the Holy Spirit on the path of perfect unity.
