“Blxckie" is the shortened version of a name that I had when I started rapping. It wasn’t ‘cool’ to start off as just Sihle. I then went by Blackie Chan after writing a hit phrase in one of my songs that said, ‘Kickin’ raps like Jackie Chan.’
