“A victory in Islam is a victory for the cause of Islam.”

Qur’anic Concept of War, 50 in Ibn, Warraq (2017)

“Terror struck into the hearts of the enemies is not only a means, it is the end itself,” Malik states, “It is the point where the means and the end meet and merge. Terror is not a means of imposing decision on the enemy; it is the decision we wish to impose on him.”

Qur’anic Concept of War, 59 in Ibn, Warraq (2017)

Fighting was to be in the cause of Allah. It was to be undertaken only against those who fought the Muslims first. During the conduct of war, the limits specified by God were not to be transgressed; those who did so were to incur divine displeasure.
