Our Lord Jesus Christ sent forth His Church to electrify the world and to startle the old Caesarism by proclaiming the dignity and the inalienable rights of every human being — dignity and rights based, not on the power and glory of empire, but on the immortality of the individual soul and its relation to the Infinite and Eternal God.
