For me, acting heals me and gives me an escape route to be whoever I want to be. It is nice to be other people and tell other people’s stories.

I think the most important quality an actor must possess is empathy. We really need empathy towards whatever character we are playing, and towards people in general. One needs to feel and understand human emotions, whether good or bad; and understand why people do what they do.
