Greatest glory be to you, praise and blessing, Christ,
You who present your servants this good gift.

Your voice, nightingale, drives away seeds of care,
Refreshes anxious hearts with its soft sounds.

Your voice, nightingale, compels one to make songs,
So my poor tongue begins to sing your praise.

Lift the sweetsounding foods to awaiting ears,
I do not want you to stop; I do not want you to stop.
